Erlend Oye is Da Bomb

I'm a pretty big fan of anything that Erlend Øye does. I think he has rightfully earned a reputation as 'one of the most talented artists in indie music' with his dynamic range of projects.
His work has never left room to disappoint, so I encourage experiencing his albums.

Erlend Oye Solo = Pleasant Sounding Electronic Music That is really good, but would probably be called 'unmemorable' if it was made in 2007
Erlend Oye DJ = Bringing the party with a lot of 'hits that you've never heard but will soon love'
Kings of Convenience = Simon and Garfunkel-esque 2 dudes on acoustic guitar band
The Whitest Boy Alive = modern indie band making pop music that sound like the best stuff from between 1985-2015

For the record, the Kings of Convenience video for "I'd Rather Dance With You" is probably one of the best ever made/most memorable, in my opinion. It's like a throwback to the days when videos could have a fun/formulaic concept, and bands didn't just over-conceptualize their music videos.
