Uffie is a former bloghouse artist who has been working for her full length EP for close to half a decade. She was initially branded as a lolita with minimal rapping skills masked by decent production + autotune, but now it seems like she is trying to 'break free' from her previous brand. The song "Illusion of Love" seems like it is trying to be a house anthem or something similar.

After Ke$ha, a popular autotune rapper climbed to #1 on the billboard charts, the casual music fan can't help but wonder if Uffie missed the greatest opportunity to monetize + reach the masses.

Fortunately most electronic/electro/techno/house/dubstep music has a niche following, and she will probably achieve solid album sales in European markets which bring Ed Banger a decent return on investment. No sources can confirm that she will be marketed to the masses as a post-Ke$ha byproduct.

As you can tell, the Ed Banger brand is still strong, as evidenced by the number of fans who were still into the song "D.A.N.C.E." at the recent Ed Banger 7th anniversary party. They seem to still have a tribe of fans who still connect with the 2k7 indiesphere.
