I just watched this clip of MGMT playing at some show, then one of the non-famous band members is all like "Give us ur left shoe." Then the crowd responds by pelting the entire band with shoes for a few minutes. I really wish I could have been there to have an opportunity to throw stuff at them. I feel really bitter, like I haven't let go of their sophomore album flop. It's been a while, but watching this brought back dark memories of the buzz drought of 2k10. Would have thrown my rapegaze combat boot right at Andrew VanBroGarden's face.
The clip is actually really boring, but at least we got to talk abt our disappointment in "Congratulations" again. Wish the clip was more violent/meme-worthy, but whatever. At least I got a 'funnie headline' out of it with the rest of the blogosphere.

Does the crowd seem 'angry' or 'sillie'?
R u still angry abt 'Congrats'?
Can they recover on their 3rd album, or will it be a 'complete disaster 2.0'?
