Salem are the leaders of the rapegaze genre. Even though their music sounds like slow, dark, boring noise, they have somehow 'branded it' as 'relevant' and ppl vibe out to it in a dark way, but then they tend to get dark, and u feel like when u listen to them u might get some sort of STD that will rot your peen/vagina off because it is so dark and u don't know where it has been. Anyways, they played a show in Miami at Art Basel. There were strippers. I am not sure if it was a Salem thing, a Miami thing, an artsy thing, or a rape gaze thing. The strippers began to 'scissor' in the pool during the Salem set.
