Mum, Kria Brekkan, and Avey Tare

Ever since I heard Mum, I’ve been pretty moved by their music.
Then one day, I found out that that the lead singer, Kria Brekkan, also known as Kristín Kristín Anna Valtsdóttir, was married to Avey Tare of Animal Collective. That same day was the day thatI found out that she left Mum.

I think “Finally We Are No One” is an album worth buying.

i too found out those things on the same day, and while my wife and i lamented the loss to mum, we celebrated the inevitable arrival of a new class of super baby alts with funny haircuts
