It’s nice to know that the track Justice Featuring Mos Def and Spank Rock D.A.N.C.E. (Benny Blanco mix Feat. Mos Def and Spank Rock) is currently the #1, #16, #37, and #41 on Hype Machine’s most popular right now.
It’s one of the first MP3s ‘exclusively distributed’ by the new BLOG/RECORD LABEL hybrid called RCRD LBL. With such a certified hit, I guess they really know music after all. It’s a shame that Mos Def and Spank Rock were able to rap over “D.A.N.C.E.” before Kanye West. It really manages to drive home that vibe of “Why the hell is this rapper rapping over this? This song makes me feel like I’m at an indie dance night for young, salaried 20somethings” that only Kanye has managed by rapping over “Young Folks” and “Harder, Better, Stronger, Faster.”

Blog as record label? Not sure that this is going to be the best way for blogs to monetize their content. And where does the artist get a cut in this whole operation?

I like Justice, Mos Def, and Spank Rock. So I am obviously the target audience for this song. But I actually don’t really like that song at all. Is this proof that my tastes are not predictable? Or am I just inconsistent? Maybe I am just kind of into those guys.
Btw, Dynamo! De-Ro is asserting himself as a top tier MLS Canadian import.

This sounds like something Easter Egg would make, although, I hate this song, which is a shame because I’m a fan of Benny B, Spank Ro, and Mos Def.
