Pretty great commentary. Don’t you usually have a giggle when you find out that some one you know enjoys scrap booking/other tacky crafts?

As our generation continues to express themselves with technology, I wonder what will eclipse ‘craftsy stuff you glue on paper’ as the ultimate tacky aesthetic.

As opposed to ’superstar moms’ who made an amazing trifold for their kid’s science fair project, will the next wave of superstar parents make over-designed presentations with Photoshop/Keynote/edited videos, etc? I guess kids have always been parents’ last chance to express themselves (I love the parents who fail miserably).

THE GLITTER INDUSTRY: HERE TO STAY?
Glitter can be used in many ways. Not just to glue on felt, and crap like that.
