This video for Ryan Adams’ “Follow the Lights” makes me wonder when he will be freed of the “traditional duties” as a popular musician, and be able to do whatever he wants. This video incorporates some ABC family drama show into it.
I feel incredibly comfortable with Ryan Adams releasing EPs, LPs, and free web MP3s whenever he wants.

Yeah…I saw this commercial the other night and was kind of baffled of the song’s placement. It’s definitely not the first (or second, third, etc.) time that Ryan Adams has dipped his hand into the mass marketed corporate well. It doesn’t bother me, really…he’s still a fantastic songwriter who just happens to make a living off his music.
