If you were THE GAP, would you pick Amy Poehler to represent you?

When it comes to the minimal SNL that most people are exposed to these days, I think it’s fair to say Amy Poehler leaves the viewer thinking:
1. I used to complain about Weekend Update when Collin Quinn hosted it, but this POEHLER crap is terrible.
2. We can all accept that most women (and most women on SNL) are not funny, and just there to sing (Ana Gastayer+Maya Rudolph model) or be a notch below awkwardly normal (Rachel Dratch), but Amy Poehler’s aura really just ruins anything.

I guess what I’m trying to say is:
GAP should have taken pictures of AA-type hottiez, instead of a ‘funnie faced’ Amy Poehler.
American Apparel advertising: The only advertising that reaches out to Gen-Y on a personal level. <3 <3 <3

Speaking of THE GAP, I found a link to this leaked commercial set to launch in 2008. I heard 2008 is the year of the KHAKI.

    damn dude! you really hate amy poehler.. i think i saw that gap commercial a few years back. i don’t think khakis are ever coming back, unless you go on a safari or something.

    Amy left her funny off with UCB tv series + H. sans humor. I think the real fault is SNL sub par writing in the tina fey/post tina fey era.

    I think SNL is ‘kick in the groin’ funny, and it’s not funny to see a woman get kicked in the groin.

    So in other words only MEN are funny, and women are supposed to just stand there and look pretty for you. Oh Gawd.
