What’s the deal with Bjork? She’s been around for a while. Sometimes I’ve listened to her music when I’m riding in the car of some girl from a small town with a pseudo-alternative personality, but I’ve never purchased any of her albums, or particularly enjoyed the 1 track that we all get to hear from Pitchfork when one of her new albums is coming out. I’ve heard she’s good live.
Remember her swan dress that one time? Has her greatest contribution to society been progressing alternative/electronic music, or creating a SWAN DRESS for alternative girls to wear on Halloween for years to come?

Bjork: I don’t really have a strong opinion on her music, but I just wanted to say that I think she’s WEIRD even though I appreciate ‘art’ and ‘conceptual stuff.’

I hate people who say things to create an illusion that they are profound or deep thinkers when infact they are nothing of the sort.
Sure Bjork is a love it or leave it artist and some people get her and some don’t but that doesn’t mean she’s fair game for those- too ignorant to even give her a listen before they spout their prejudices about her, her tastes and her homeland.
Seems that the educational system in America is failing some people entirely since they sit in their homo- cultural state sneering at any country with the nous to be different.
Visit Iceland and see what it’s really like instead of theorising from the comfort of your bedroom for once.
