The blog Hipster Runoff and its writer Carles entered the Radiohead remix competition this week with a sort of spoken-word-on-top-of-the-instrumentals style remix which sounded like a classic HRO post but in music form. I like Carles, he seems like a thoughtful and nice guy, got lots of funny and interesting stuff going on inside his head and on the blog, little shallow and can’t spell sometimes but hey! who isn’t? who can?Geee, doesn’t it whet your appetite? Don’t you want more HRO remixes? Or even better: wouldn’t you go banananananananas for some original from the blogster? I’d go mashed bananas in my pyjamas pants over an HRO original tune.

you are climbing up to the upper echelons of blog. you are selling out, and the real hipsters will therefore abandon you because they can’t tolerate liking something that everyone else likes. you will then lose touch with the scene (growing older does not help) and eventually you will be one of those old people saying “what’s with young people today? remember when justice was cool?”
actually I think you’re creeping into that final stage earlier than expected because you still think justice and the cobrasnake are cool. they aren’t.

your 2nd remix was way more LOL worthy.
i mean the sad thing is mine is better than both of them but i doubt i’ll crack 100…not all of us have media outlets to exploit.
