Hey remember when you first heard of Smoosh, and you were like 'OMG! Little girls playing keyboard and drum indie rock! I like them more than Matt&Kim AND Mates of State!'

I think Smoosh is sort of like indie rock's version of Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen. After these latest press photos, we can tell that they are blossoming into beautiful young alternative lolitas, with their own unique fashion sense (provided by Forever21 & Urban Outfitters Fashion Labs).

Should blogs start having countdowns about how many hours until the members of Smoosh are legal?

My favourite part of the Smoosh wikipedia entry:

They have opened for many leading Pacific Northwest bands including Pearl Jam, Death Cab for Cutie, Sleater-Kinney, and the Presidents of the United States of America, as well as for other acts such as Mates of State, Jimmy Eat World, Cat Power (who also covers their song, "Rad"), Nada Surf, Sufjan Stevens and The Go! Team.
