I can’t believe is going to let me ‘pay what I want’ for his next ‘album.’ How much r u planning on paying? I wonder what samples he is going to use this time. I hope he uses Green Day’s “Good Riddance (Time of Your Life).” I can’t wait to see the first music video from the album. It will probably be rlly viral and artsy.

The future of the Child Predator:

Is there such thing as a free spirited child predator?

Greg Gillis is one of the best examples of a ‘mainstreamer gone alt.’ His transition into a full-fledged alternative celebrity is one that we should all study and appreciate.

Dos’nt being a child predator mean you’re free spirited by default?

Breaking away from the “rules” that society lays down, doing what you want, not giving a goddam what people think!

Sticking it to the man (or boy) whenever he gets up in your face!

    Child predators, the orginal mavericks?

girl talk is a victim. he used to be normal, and genuinely cool. then he got swarmed by alts and he couldn’t resist entering the alt world. now he’s just another mainstreamer bringing alt to the masses.

I miss the girl talk that worked at a biotech company mon-fri and did gigs only on weekends

Mainstream? What about his involvement with Cleveland Connect?

When I was 15, I watched him perform to an almost empty room while two interpretive dancers hit each other with umbrellas. Now, he performs for frat bros and girls at college festivals.

i think you got it backwards. he’s been performing concerts for 5 years at art galleries and DIY show spaces to basically no one. then the alt community caught on after a pitchfork review. he hasn’t really changed. the world caught up with him.

he was doing pop remixes in his “midwestern DIY noise” days, even as far back as the late 90’s. he’s been on the same tip for many years nows.

I’m not paying shit for this copy and paste shit I can make in 20 mins. But I will put it on when Mainstream girls come over because it has samples of songs they know and they will think that I know what they like but can also introduce them to other dancy music that uses samples they know.
