I respect n e 1 who is going to buy as much equipment as possible to capture the essence of ‘what it means to be young/alive’ inside of each individual party pic. It’s an exciting time to be alive. As recently as 5 years ago, alternative photographers were limited to only being allowed to be into ‘band photography.’ This meant a lot of blurry images of emo/emocore/hardcore bands. However, in the party pic era, photographers are allowed to ‘take pix of n e thing & n e 1.’ Whether it’s a tittie, a nut, a guy who is dying, or anything else meaningful/quirky, party pix are great ways for people to express themselves.
R u thinkin of starting ur own lil site? Maybe just a flickr for a group of your closest friends?

I started a Flickr account to meet cute alt grls that post abt bands they think are totes awesomes.
I post photos of bands and indie alt credible related articles that were rated as hot alt content a few years ago to show that i was alt when the word alt was spelled alternative

so when are you gonna branch out into coverage of ethnic party pix sites? my brother is apparently huge in the russian party pix circuit in chicago (psst – there’s a lot of russians in chicago! not as many as polish ppl, but still a lot!). he has a huge camera too. and is uhhh well he’s a really big guy.
and dear gh0d plz don’t mention the nut guy again. that was so barfacious. and that’s not a homophobic thing…i’m a girl. :(

the fact of having a great gadget a super brandnew camera super lenses etc seems to be like everybody could take good pictures but thats not true. obviously its easier automatic mode + flash + zoom.
anyway. if the picture doesnt express anythingg i dont think its good. point.
