I don’t rlly know who exactly played Lollapalooza, but I did look at some pictures of it on some online website. It looks like it may or may not have been ‘memorable’ and/or ‘meaningful.’

Mainstreamers+festivalBros got rlly mad at alts for ‘taking over the scene’ and attracting ‘a bunch of artists that no1 has even heard of.’
I’m just glad the alts handled themselves with grace and post-post-ironically giggled it off. They also came prepared with headbands and bandanas to wipe up any excess blood.
Kid Sister, also known as Hillary Banks 2.0, looks to have played at the festival. I’m glad she got all dolled up 4 it, instead of treating it like ‘a bunch of nobodies from Milwaukee.’
It seems like festival security was kind of lacking. Some old lady wandered up on to stage after taking too many of her meds. She was in a pair of golden granny panties.
Remember ‘band photography’? R.I.P. He should trade in that lens, and invest in a Canon Party Pic 3000 lens.
I wish I could be young again and know what it means to appreciate modern culture for all of the right reasons. (I wish my parents had the money to encourage me to appreciate the arts when I was a kid. Do u think they got dropped off, or was a parent stuck there in the Dance tent watching bloghouse DJS?)
Lollapalooza set attendance records because there happened to be a MAINSTREAMALTBRO Convention going on in the ballroom of a nearby Holiday Inn.

my dad has worked security at lollapalooza since 1.9k65. he tells me nowadays it’s the same as it ever was. back then mainstream-entry-level-beatnik bros got riled up because they knew their beloved cubs were going to blow the world series again. pretty much the same thing today. my papa is a hard workin man, dependable. gets up at 5am, puts on his crew length socks and New Balance cross trainers, cargo pants, and some under armor off-brand shirt my mom got for him last christmas, puts in his 10 hour day with no complaints. he makes sure the alties are safe and unstabbed. plz do me a favor yall and next time you’re at da club, raise your sparks once for the security guard cool dads out there. they keep the partie going without anyone knowing their work.

I went to the entire Lolla weekend. Sunday was actually really good, the first two days were awful and the crowd obnxious.
Also MGMT put on the single worst show ive ever seen in my life. Guess that is what happens your music career is built entirely on internet hype.
CRLS I live in Chicago next year you can come and stay obn my couch or laundry room if u wanna go to Lolla.

Whatever. Went to capital hill in Seattle and it was good. Not a bad show anywhere, MNSTM crowd for the most part. No mud/camping. Bitch as you will but most of these bands work really hard and have never heard of “crews” or “drivers.” I think it’s important to support anyone you like with at least a physical presence if not monetary compensation.
