Heard n e good Teenagers Remixes Lately?

I remember back during the Remix Economy’s golden age in 2k6k7, the Teenagers were able to deliver on a wide range of remixes, usually taking the song to a new level. That’s what remixes are for, yall…to appeal 2 more people. <3 cross branding <3

N e ways, have yall heard about Vampire Weekend? They are pretty buzzworthy. I think I saw them on MTV/in a respected online music magazine/saw them on a mainstream late nite talk show.

Who would have thunk that the first time I would listen 2 Vampy Weekend would be [via Teenagers Remix]?

Wow you’re just getting around to Vampire Weekend? Hopefully that means you’ll catch on soon that only tweens going through their awkward transition listen to vampy weekend.

Two of my favorite things in one! The Teenz and Vampire Weekend! I may be an underage teen going through my awkward transition, but hell if MGMT and Vampire Weekend aren’t two very talented (though a bit mainstream) groups of people, I don’t know who is.

    Don’t hate :D

    Black Ghosts - Face
Simian Mobile Disco - It’s the Beat
    Air - Mer du Japon
Au Revoir Simone - Fallen Snow

    and also
Shiny Toy Guns - Don’t Cry Out
    The Enemy - Had Enough

Love The Teenagers, that Vampire track is pretty good, normally I couldn’t really care for them.

Teenagers are ok but they should really get someone to mix their stuff those timestretched (reverse) crashes killed my ears… the track just sounds bedroomy and cheap. Which is cool for their own stuff but not really that awesome for remixes trying to be huge…

people should only lyke vampire weekend in the privacy of their own home
    & dont tell anyone
    unless you like mgmt too
    and you're just a self-aware entry level/dbag fggt

Vampire Weekend is juvenile. So? Vampire Weekend is mainstream. So? You guys take yourselves too seriously. Too afraid what liking good pop music that *gasp* your little sister might like too will do to your street cred. It’s music. Calm down. And this remix is okay but I like the SMD and Lo Fi Fnk ones better.

doesnt Vampire Weekend sound frighteningly like a twee alt version of Paul Sinmon?

I saw them @ a festival day before yesterday, and i thought they were playing children’s music (at best).

    that shit is terrible.

    so fucking lame.

I almost puked when I read the comments on this page. Hipsters are SO FUCKING ANNOYING! The really annoying thing is that everyone is going to read this and think that I’m a hipster because its so fucking hip and trendy in their little community to pretend that you’re above being a hipster while you ride your fixed gear bike and wear your tight ass jeans with an American Apparel v neck and non prescription glasses. Vampire Weekend made an amazing album and some people picked up on that, now its unhip to listen to them because you aren’t the only one that’s heard of them *gasp*. AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!

I don’t like Vampire Weekend, but sometimes I pretend just to get a tug from mainstream chicks. This track will definitely come in handy for pretending to be a sensitive-yet-hip guy to get tugged off by entry level/underage alt sl00ts.

I like the Teenagers remixes. My favorite remix is definitely their remix of Van She - Sex City. Soooo awesome.

This remix is pretty bad, I’m sorry. I can’t believe they ruined the primary hook of the song, the I doo-oo-oo-oo-oo - they completely took it out of its rhythmic context which is what made it in the first place.

Better luck next time - I would love to see a good remix of Vampire Weekend!
