To me, Heath Ledger's death was not 'just a meme.' I will NVR let that one go. Yall need to realize that the meme economy is making meaningful entities disposable. All of these news + celeb blogs aren't authentic cuz they don't take the time to reflect on a legacy. They are s00 consumed with creating Search Engine Optimized memes that they don't stop to realize that on the other side of this whole 'internet thingy' are real human beings. We are real human beings who are searching for authenticity.

I wish people would just understand that HIPSTER RUNOFF not just a blog. I am an open search for authenticity. I don't rlly care about turning 'events', 'people', and 'newsbits' into memes.
HIPSTER RUNOFF is a place for reflection. Kinda like how myspace is for friends. I just want to be a place where you can come and 'get real.' I want you to be able to really just be you.
