A few more blog years and you can start clinging onto alt celebs and trashing the ones that don’t “get” you… I think that’s the next transition; going from a crappy annoy alt-blogger to an alt-blogger who’s kind of a little famous but has not actually talented. Then you can finally introduce a line of HRO branded merchandise that’s all made in the altSA but real alts won’t actually buy it since you have clearly sold out. Later it’s discovered that’s it’s all actually made in china and it’s all like “so ironic” that it becomes totally alt to start wearing. The scandal only heightens HRO’s popularity proving once again that no publicity is bad publicity… I haven’t ironed out all the details but I think you start hosting HRO after parties and then later open HRO clubs in new york and LA. Eventually satellite clubs are opened in other entry level alt cities but real alts claim that the only good ones are in new york and LA but they were much better before they totally went mainstream. Later the HRO franchise is purchased by VicePitchfork LLC, a division of AOLTimeWarner and becomes part of the MSN.com family.

@chch, oh yha… that would be so perfect… it’s like having a blog but not having to put any thought into it at all… and still getting the ad revenue off it. I think I’m going to do that. It will be called hrHO and since no one will actually e-mail me posts then I’ll just steal whatever looks good form the HRO comments. I’m gona be rich!

I kno this is a few blog years too old but I used to think agy was so mnstrm and overrated. then i saw this http://i34.tinypic.com/ogkkkn.jpg and read she listens to animal collective. so now, i think she might be a genuine alt trying to make her life meaningful. she’s just searching for authenticity. i can relate now.
