This song will always be an anthem for females with no personalities who listen to 'alternative hits within the top 40', and will eventually develop into a soft rock staple in 2k15.
unfortunately it's also a staple of my closeted coworker with whom i share an office and who likes to play songs like this very loudly. srsly tho what straight man listens to avril-style covers of little mermaid songs... :((((
btw cut copy is balls. cut copy and maroon 5 are both balls. this remix is awful.
it's a nice remix, it shares nothing but the lyrics from the original, it's kinda safe to remix mainstream artists right? but i hope they don't start making it a "normal" thing. the jewstices did britney, so i guess whatever the jewstices do is canon law

don't rly care. pretty much confident enough in my own self-awareness/kewlness/authenticity that cup copy remixing mareun5 is not perceived as a threat to my personal brand.
I feel like I'm stuck in the music video for thriller and a zombie is slowly eating me while I am forced to listen to this shit that is maroon 5. h8 epicly long songs that are only epicly bad

all ausbros know that the cut copys (and the presets and pretty much everything on the modulars) have been maltstream for ages...
all the ed hardy tank tops and southern cross tattoos love listening to them on the way home from the mangements gigs (who are also totes dead to me)...
took the words right outta my mouth, modular is so mainstream now every artist they sign goes straight to mainstream.
there once was a time that no one knew about the presets and people thought i was qhey for wearing skinny jeans and other unknown apparel . now every aus has modular all over their ipods whilst wearing theyre nudie jeans which were purchased from general pants and other mnstrm clothing outlets.
@timms, would be sooooo much better without the shitty vocals. oh cut copies. what have u done. oh well. still loves you. i just will never listen to this.

Isn't this song about doing the naughty with a girl who secretly has no soul?

As long as none of the mnstrm folks at my college know Cut Copy, we're all safe!

preview of tmrrw's post:
Brokencyde: Officially Mainstream?
track has no depth, they barely used the vocals. sub par from Cut Copy imo. 5/10
the cut///////copys were on carson dalys
it's reasonably authentic disco but the maroon 5s keep interrupting with their shitty vocals
d0nt know why they chose to remix this song (could have been an instrmntl b-side banger)
@timms, would be sooooo much better without the shitty vocals. oh cut copies. what have u done. oh well. still loves you. i just will never listen to this.
nice track, thanks.
cut copy is like sooo populerz at my college now. whats the deal?
also this remix is like the original but not as catchy/sexy. booo
its ok but its about 4mins too long
alt r mainstream? isn't ths something cool dads use to defend their krappy grunge rock?
i dont care weather or not cut copy is mnstrm, the last album they made was far too impressive.
2:44 Nice tigers
fyi - an inside scoop - girl talk is performing at the abercrombie and fitch christmas party (at their home office). alt? you decide?
remove balls-musical talent+act like ur into the opposite sex= marooned 5 + only slightly more musically inclined dj/ 2 2k9 altdogs= shitty remix
FUCK MAROON 5
Cut Copy have been mainstream for a very long time in Australia. Long before they did this remix.
