Arrange your thoughts a bit more and maybe you won't feel so insecure/morbid/futile? Try reading some big time (and maybe some smalltime?) philosophers and you might find many of the things you think at night that you don't think anyone else could understand or comprehend actually has been dwelled on longer or been put more concisely than you thought you should. The post about the photo is a good example of what Iris Murdoch was getting at when she thought humanity needed to 'unself'. She loved using art as a medium of making someone a better person from the frame of mind it put them in. This post about the rapture or whatever, well, I don't go too much for end of the world thought because it really doesn't matter anyway right? I don't know maybe Nietzsche, Sartre or Descartes could help you out in the event of an existential crisis (buddha?).
