A conversation with Three Blazed, Far Out Bros about abstract topics [miss u Animal Collective]

In an interview with NYLON.TV, the popular post-bloghouse, conceptual-core band Animal Collective shares answers to questions that people have been wondering 4ever: "How did yall come up with yalls names? o keut. how abt ur album name? o. kewl. what animals would yall be?" (U also find out that Noah Lennox would want to be a Janitor if he wasn't the #1 Musician of the Past 10 years.)

Kinda wish I could work for a magazine/youtube channel so I could ask hard-hitting questions, and then edit the video together using zany transitions and images ffffound via Google Image Search. Does n e 1 have any stories about interacting with the AnCoBros? Do u find AnCoBros to be 'accessible'? Are you comfortable with them being the #1 American Band of the Modern Era?

I think it's funny when some1 asks u 'what bands have u been listening 2 lately?' and u have to say what is popular+relevant, but then u have to think 'is this person really asking me to recommend Animal Collective to them?' I remember ppl thought that AnCo was going to be Top 40 radio after MPP, and eventually knock the Jonas Brothers down from #1 since they would teach the world what 'good music and good feelings' sounded like. Hope they are able to handle the state of things.

I feel kinda down. I remember the day that the Merriweather Post Pavilion leak came out, and it felt like we all had a reason 2 b alive again. Have only listened to it like twice. Feel bad. It seems like ppl didn't even focus on the album--they were just interested in 'analyzing the hype' behind Animal Collective.

Can't believe the conceptual-core era is already dead. Was shorter than the bloghouse golden age.

Goodnite moon.
