They seem like kewl bros. Might start dressing like them/designing clothes like theirs for my UrbanOutfitties internship.
Really enjoy this song ‘Last Nights Party.’ Might start a website about it.

Saw this video where they are in a room that fills up with sewage, and talk about how u only live 1nce, so u have 2 make the most of it (might be a christian band?)

@blah, what’s even lamer is how all the people who comment also recycle the same jokes that carles makes. like they say exactly what they are supposed to. Pink Floyd in 2k10? sometimes it feels like the blog got dumb and all the new posts are just written as if they were someone’s comment on a previous post.

crls were they strokes yr fav band when people were actually unself aware alts who loved the strokes/knew every lyric/could ever live some type of meaningful life without cameras. ugh. wish it was 2001 again and the strokes were my everything. still have that personally signed strokes poster yall from when i was in their website fan club! my dad bought that for me as a birthday present when i was 13…so young and cool. sigh.

this post is crap. whereas this gimmick works with some artists, it somehow doesnt translate well with the strokes.
they were victims of the hype created by NME and their image and the title of “saviours of rock and roll” have sadly, overshadowed their music.
is this it still remains one of the finest releases from this decade, and had the strokes remained a little less under the radar of people who think hype is more important than the music, they could have gone down in history as a quality band. this way, theyre seen (the amjority) as the band that was once “the next big thing” then slowly caved under pressure and diminshed into nothingness, with no way to ever live up to the greatness of is this it… the sad thing they might, or haev already, but have been cursed by the hype.
