Illegal downloads of teh album top the 22 million mark by years end. 8 months after the release/leak of the album, a Massive backlash takes hold as 22 million diehard ANco fans realize that the bands distinct absence of melody and form renders the music unlistenable. Fans feel shameful and begin retracting their support for the band, claiming they "actually never were fans of ANCo, just panda bear". ANco go down as the greatest con of alt-history. The shame inspires a new generation of altbros to create logical and melodious music. Lyrics begin to make sense. Concept core goes the wayside for 7or 8 years. Furture of concept core:
