My parents are in their 50s and the only person who I can sometimes convince to go to a concert is my just turned 22 yr old brother(whose roomates and friends give me beer and whiskey, and who I've been drunk around before, the one and only time I've been drunk...and it was off red wine with a kangaroo label.) Anyway this article just reaffirms my discernment with the bands I see, but I live in freakin' SC-and not Charleston either so I usually go to NC or GA for shows...Anyway really good article, also I look young for my age so I couldn't get into a 21+ club(and neither can my older brother without his ID!heh). I know that this might blow your mind but your life is NOT over once you hit 30. I feel like I know myself much better and I even have some money now! I've found that when I was in my 20's I would worry about shit and freak out about the future. Now though there is an inner calmness in me and I feel like I can cope with stuff better. So all you people in your 20's, don't despair, it does get better, I promise! Hi.
