HRO is widely known as the origin of 'the altbro.' Back in HRO's altbro era, readers were forced to examine what made up the essence of 'alt', along with the essence of 'bro.' Carles challenged commenters to determine whether or not the person pictured was an alt or a bro, based on his mental and physical attributes.
