Carles is the loss of regular control of the bowels. Involuntary excretion and leaking are common occurrences for those affected. Subjects relating to defecation are often socially unacceptable, thus those affected are often beset by feelings of shame and humiliation. Some refuse to seek medical help, and instead attempt to self-manage the Carles. This can lead to social withdrawal and isolation, which can turn into cases of agoraphobia.

I checked various online ‘news’ sites to find any mention of The Crash, but nothing. Not sure why, but I felt like reading an article stating that HRO was down would have made me feel better.
Couldn’t find any mention of it online, and my two IRL HRO-reading friends hadn’t even noticed.
Maybe it was a statement by Carles on the place of alt in the ‘real world’. For those of us that don’t live in NYC or go to an art school, alt exists almost entirely on the Internet…
Once this site dies, where are we going to go? Will we even get a Wikipedia entry?
