I have always been told that it is important to get vaccinated from miscellaneous evils like ‘the flu’, ‘the bird flu’, ‘the swine flu’, ‘bacterial meningitis’, miscellaneous Hepatitis strands, and even ‘HPV.’ As u grow older, ur body needs help fighting off these evil illnesses/bacteria/viruses. Feel sort of vulnerable, like I won’t actually live 4evr. Like there are tons of competing lifeforces that are in direct competition with my own personal lifeforce.
From what I understand, vaccines work because they ‘introduce a lil bit of the strand of bad stuff into your body’ so that your body is able 2 build up a natural immunity 2 the evil stuff. It’s kinda weird how that works. Seems questionable. I feel like the goal of life is 2 ‘avoid being exposed to germs/etc’, not to ‘introduce the germs’ into your system. I think this is why companies created ‘hand sanitizer’ to make sure germs don’t spread.
I got scared after watching this video. There was a ‘perfectly normal broad’ who took a vaccine, then her whole life got turned upside down.
She seems to have ’serious permanent damage’ just because she took a flu shot. Needless to say, I won’t be taking any vaccines any time soon because I don’t want this to happen 2 me. Jesus Christ. Might as well ‘get the lethal injection’ instead of a vaccine. These things seem dangerous, and I can’t believe so many health care professionals still believe in them. Maybe if they saw this video, they would change their minds. Afraid of taking a vaccine, then ‘gettin da funky walk.’
It seems like ‘the government’ has made up an entire schedule of vaccines that I am supposed to take. I don’t even know what is in these vaccines. I have heard tons of ‘conspiracy theories’ that the government is somehow trying to slowly kill us, or at least make sure we die by age 65 so that there aren’t population+food issues.
I wonder if the government is trying to slowly kill you, me, & every1 we know.
I feel kinda afraid of swine flu, but I don’t think it is worth it to take a vaccine. I might just quarantine myself in my loft for the next 1-3 years until the government kills all the people they want with the H1N1 vaccine. Worried abt the H1N1 vaccine. Part of me wants it since it is ‘rare and valuable’ (sorta like how people wanted Wiis when they first came out), but part of me is rlly afraid of it. Like this disease is going 2 kill me if it enters my body.

okay here’s the deal, i had swine flu two weeks ago, you don’t need the vaccine, if you get it, just take it super easy for seven days (assuming your symptoms aren’t lethal and you can handle it). it went away after like two weeks completely and the doc said i was chill now, just use hand sanitizer all the time and eat more fruit/veggies/nuts.

The antivax crowd and sensationalist reports like that are doing so much harm. There is a greater likelyhood that you’ll die in a car accident than you’ll face adverse effects like that girl from your vaccine. The fact is that H1N1 is a nasty bug and you’d do better to immunize yoourself than just risk getting very sick.

yes, but it turns into one of those unnecessary risks that would make you question if it was really worth it in the first place. I think I’d rather run the risk of contracting H1N1 and riding it out. If something very bad happened to me, then I could just attribute the blame to something out of my control. However, if I was one of the small percentages of people receiving the ‘vax’ who has a terrible neurological reaction, I couldn’t live with myself since I’d spend the rest of my shitty life wondering if it was even worth it and if I even would have gotten H1N1 anyway, and if I did, how it wouldn’t have been as bad as what I’m now living with. I’d be able to ‘accept my fate’ better if it was something out of my control than if it was based on a decision that I made. I don’t feel like getting into an argument now based on ‘odds’ and ‘how far back you can trace the decision-making process’… this is just ‘my opinion, man’.

You forgot the part about virus/bacteria being long-since dead before it enters your body in an immunity shot. Your body then learns how to defend itself from future invaders. The flu shot uses the top three strands from the previous year, so while unlikely you will get the flu, it is still possible to get a new strand.
And as far as the video; it’s a pretty clear case of correlation does not equal causation. That would be like me getting in a car wreck 10 days from now and blaming it on reading your blog.

Maybe you are scared of vaccines because you can’t spend the time to actually figure out what the hell you are talking about. Possibly you should get your information from credible, reputable, scientific sources, who spend a lot of time and money studying the effects of vaccines, instead of just watching some sensationalist news report that presents the journalist equivalent of a chain-letter scam. “One of my friends sent on the chain letter to twelve of his friends, and the next day she got a love letter from her secret crush. A different friend DIDN’T pass it along, and a month later she was hit by a car!”
It might sound crazy, but a lot of people do get sick from the flu, and many actually die from it! If you are a healthy, young man (as I am guessing you are), this may not be a credible risk to you. But if you did get the flu, you still might be a vector, passing it along to somebody with a weakened immune system without your knowledge. This is just to show how even when very healthy people get flu shots, it can help save lives.
At the very least, if you can’t be bothered to do any research, just don’t post it to your web page and nobody will be the wiser.

People need to read stuff written by knowledgeable (as in, have put in research in the field) alt doctors. There is a link between autoimmune responses to vaccines and autism and other disorders. Autism has become an epidemic in countries that vaccinate children. This is not merely because more people go to doctors/get diagnosed. Any doctor/person who has been alive for over three decades can see that there are more autistic kids nowadays than in years past. This is statistically true. Babies nowadays are encouraged to get tons of vaccinations, more so now than even 15 years ago. And there’s a lot more autistic kids than before. And there’s doctors who have researched these matters and are against this practice.
Oh yeah and what about the girls that die because of the HPV shot? Or are now paralyzed? It’s called an “autoimmune response.”
The “correlation does not imply causation” crowd should maybe read doctors they disagree with, or look into the research done by the thousands of doctors who are against vaccinating children.
Also look into the links between increased likelihood of Alzheimers for people who take flu shots (the mercury builds up in your brain). I don’t know, correlation does not imply causation.

Vaccines are responsible for wiping out at least a few diseases like polio and smallpox. Vaccines are absolutely legitimate medicine, and this story about the cheerleader is sensationalist bullshit. Did any of you notice the headline asking “was it the flu shot?” They don’t have any idea what triggered that girls ultra-rare disease, and 10 days should have been more than enough time to get it out of her system before her disorder came up. If she hadn’t gotten a flu shot this story would’ve ran like this: “Did america’s public school systems cause this poor cheerleaders unfortunate disease? Did the stress of too many kids per classroom trigger her disorder?”
The only reason this story even made the news is because the girl is an attractive white teenage girl. If it had been anyone else, ANYONE ELSE, this story would never have even made the last page of the girl’s local newspaper.
If people like you all ran the world over the last hundred years, smallpox would’ve killed off all of mankind by now.

Vaccines are full of heavy metals and most of the chemicals produced by pharmaceutical companies eventually do more harm than good. Sure people are living longer, but the growing numbers of kids with autism and cancer rates should cause some alarm.

no they’re not. You are belittling people who have done research into the subject and disagree with the “mainstream” view. There is a correlation between increased cancer, autism, early onset of puberty in girls/feminization of boys, and crazy allergies and consumption of new environmental/pharmaceutical/whatever things… GMOs, vaccines, crazy stuff in the water and plastics, etc. all have some correlation to this. This is not just superstition or whatever. Serious minded doctors, scientists, medical ethicists, and “concerned citizens” have put real research into these things, and have opinions that differ from the “mainstream” corporate/government opinion. Not very alt to malign those who “question the status quo.”
