@doororps, While you may be technically right about the swastika’s original meaning, once a symbol is adopted by a megalomaniacal, genocidal maniac who tries (in vain, I may add) to physically force the rest of the world into believing the same, bigoted, single-minded rhetoric spewed from ‘Mein Kampf’, it has a slightly different implied significance. Not to take away from how they ‘failed’, they certainly did, I’m just sick of being reminded of just how far we (as a nation) have to go to real ‘freedom and equality for every man’. It ain’t ‘kewl to BBQ fLaGzzzzz’ when you have family and friends fighting for our daily comforts (and our right to read/ create ‘culturally relevant blogz’ for that matter). Flag burning is teh LAMEzzzzz.
