I have been doing a lot of thinking. I realize that now is the time to start thinking about my Halloween 2k10 costume, instead of waiting til the last minute. I have made the decision to be an altCeleb in 2k10, but I am not sure who will be ‘relevant’ in exactly 1 year.
Have no idea what 2k10 will be like… Feeling nervous/anxious… Might need some sort of anti-depressant.

feels like a lot of bands that used to be alt are reaching this sort of mainstream-age within/outside of the alt community. is there even an alt community anymore?
idk, if you wear clothes ironically while knowing that you’re being ironic, it sort of takes it away if everyone else is doing exactly the same thing. after awhile, I think the danger is that you might actually grow to have that represent your culture, and you stop appreciating it ironically and just start simply appreciating it.

@kbiz, idk, when I was younger I overlistened to them so now I can’t really listen as much anymore. I have heard a few of their songs on the radio though and played in mnstrm stores here, so I doubt it’s really that simple

I need help yall (authentic ‘yall’, im from ATL). im not excited about anything right now (any music that is). I got really pumped up about the new King Khan & BBQ Show…album leaked…loved a few tunes…the rest was meh. They came to my neighborhood, 2 blocks away, was planning on going for many weeks…then I worked a 13 hour day…took a xanax…didn’t even feel like going. Usually i get depressed for missing shows, but now its different. Im depresses because i dont care i missed a show of one of my fav bands in my own neighborhood. Since the chillwave era of 2k9.5, Im really not excited anymore…i listened to neon indian tonight and felt like ‘this old and boring’. I listened to broken social scene tonight and felt like ‘this old and boring.’ What is new and exciting yall? srsly? unless some suggests something really nice, all i have to look forward to is black lips new years eve night. Whats exciting nowadays yall?
