Just wondering when your upcoming album Tomboy is going to leak
We really need it.
Let's just say 2k10 hasn't really been the best year
tons of letdowns, legacy indie bands sort of 'half assing it'
maybe they did their best
but you could shit
better than MGMT's best

I know Arcade Fire is coming out soon
but I'm planning on that being 'terrible'
it'll get a lot of coverage, too
tons of product placement type of marketing

Ugh... so over it.
So many bands being buzzed that don't even deserve it.
They haven't paid their dues
they don't have a proven track record
quite like u do

Listen, I'm saying this as a bro
but every1 needs u now, more than ever
it would be chill as hell if u could find it in your heart to leak ur album
I might pay for it later, or maybe buy some merch / vinyl from you

But I'm just kinda bummed out
2k10 has me super down
Sorta like 2k10 is a 'think piece' of a year
trying to demonstrate how 'hollow' and 'empty'
the generic album release marketing cycle is

I miss the days in late 2k8, back when Merriweather Post Pavilion leaked
I know u guys let that happen, just so we all had a good Christmas/New Year's Eve
Just sayin... we need that kind of magic again.
