Robert DeNiro stars in sequel to 'Taxi Driver.'

One of indie cinema's most revolutionary films was Taxi Driver, starring Robert De Niro. Even though he has aged, he has stayed relevant by starring in some of the most cutting edge modern indie and mainstream films of all time.  In his new film Little Fockers, he seems to take on a complex role with other revolutionary actors like Harvey Keitel, Owen Wilson, and Ben Stiller.  Stiller and Wilson previously shared the screen in the hit film The Royal Tenenbams.

De Niro was Travis Bickle in Taxi Driver.  As you can see, he used to be one of the iconic 'societal misfits' in the history of human metaphors.

De Niro continues to take cinema to the next level with cutting edge roles.  This movie seems to be some sort of commentary on a prisoner in his pajamas at Guantanamo Bay getting his 'terrorist ass' interrogated by a US Military Officer.

Ensemble comedies featuring old stars of Hollywood in zany roles have established themselves as legitimate cash cows in the modern world.  Star of 'The Graduate' Dustin Hoffman even came out of retirement for the third film in the Focker Taxi Driver franchise.
