Some bro just did a CNN iReport vlog about how Vampire Weekend came to his house, then stole his guitars. The alleged incident happened in November of 2007, probably before Vampire Weekend had 'made it.'
Wonder if this bro is 'authentic' or if he is just trying to get attention + money from Vampire Weekend now that they are 'rich and famous rock stars.' Do u think he is lying?
Ezra, Chris Tomson, and Rostam came to my place for an afterparty when they played Lexington, KY in November 2007. We had a mutual friend, Caroline Beck, who worked their merch table at their show. We hung out, played some songs by the Band together, drank green chartreuse... partied. Well when I woke up the next morning my Guild Starfire III and my roommate's Gibson SG were just-a missin'. Since that day I can't listen to Vdub's music without thinking about it. Do you know anything about that?
Feel bad for the bro. He probably has dreams of being a buzzband, but now every time he sees Vampire Weekend, he is probably looking at their gear, wondering if they are using his guitars. He probably searches tons of youtube videos of Vampire Weekend playing to see if they are using his gear.

Did Vampire Weekend steal this bro's stuff?
Is this bro a liar?
Should Vampy Weekend just send him a few autographed tshirts 2 make him go away?
Is he just trying to create a meme, then he can link to his own band's myspace?
Are yall on #TeamVampyWeeks or #TeamKentuckyBro?
Are you one of those people who invites bands to your house after the show, then finds stuff stolen the next day?
Has a band ever stolen something from u after u let them crash on ur couch / have sex with u + ur roommate?
If Animal Collective stole your Wii / Macbook, would u still be able to enjoy their music?
