Jake Gyllenhaal does interview about buzzbands, claims to ‘love’ Vampire Weekend and Die Antwoord

Jake Gyllenhaal is a mainstream actor who 'tore up the scene' when he starred in the hit cult indie film Donnie Darko. When the movie came out, tons of people were like 'this is hella deep', but now every1 is sorta like 'that was lame'/'what the eff was going on in that film?' Eventually Jakey Wakey went on to star in Brokeback Mountain with deceased bro Heath Ledger, a movie about 2 twinks searching for meaning, back when 'twinks' weren't socially acceptable/possibly didn't even exist.

In a recent interview, they ask him 'what bands he is into.' The first band that he mentions is 'Vampire Weekend,' the former indie band which is arguably one of the top 10 bands in the world right now. He names a few other random/shitty bands, then starts to laugh as he summons up energy for an 'oddball recommendation', and tells the general public to check out the zany South African rap group Die Antwoord.

R u gonna check out these buzzbands?
Should Jake Gyllenhaal start a 'music blog' for the hype machine?

Feel like this was a 'very mainstream post', like the same as posting a video of Gwyneth Paltrow talking about how Coldplay is her favourite band.

What is Jake Gyllenhaal's best movie?
Is Jake Gyllenhaal an altbro?
Is this 'inconsequential' because he is just talking about 'mainstream shit'?
Do u think Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal jammed out to Vampire Weekend's first album when they were filming The Dark Knight?
Who is more authentic: Jake or Maggie?
Do people 'really' like Die Antwoord or were they just a well-presented meme?

Should Jake Gyllenhaal start a chillwave sound project called "Jake ChillinHaal" or "Jake ChillinHard"?
