Just saw some pix on Pitchfork Media of Avey Tare and Deakin doing a super exclusive DJ set as 'Animal Collective DJs.' I am not sure what this means, since AnCo is a 4 person band and 2 bros are missing. Wonder if there is 'revenue sharing' or if Avey and Deak are gonna 'hog' those profits. Anyways, just feeling super paranoid, since Panda Bear and Avey Tare are going to have a 'head to head battle' since they both have solo project albums coming out pretty soon.

Really sensing some 'clashing vibes' coming out of #Team_Anco. Is their prime behind them? Do they still have 'team chemistry'?

Seems like Avey Tare and Deakin are just riding concept waves, probably playing 'mad tribal' tunes. Not sure if they dig the DRONEWAVE that Panda Bear is trying 2 promote.

Can't believe AnCo has played gigs at both the Googleheim and the Museum of Modern Bro Art.

At this weekend's Warm Up show at MoMA's P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center in Queens, an Animal Collective DJ set headlined an afternoon and evening of experimental music curated by Tri Angle Records.

Sorta wonder what is going on? Is Panda bro just chillin in Portugal, getting pumped for the TOMBOY release, or is the band sorta 'melting down'? Is AnCo about to 'die'? If Panda Bear is phased out of AnCo, will the music be 'as good'/'better'? Is there a Deakin Vs. Panda Bear rift, or an Avey vs Panda rift?

Just sorta want to wear a bucket hat / cool lil hat with Avey Tare.

Does n e 1 know what is going on with AnCo?
Is there a 'huge rift' or are blogspots reading into this too much?
Is Deakin being integrated back into AnCo at the expense of Panda Bear?
Did Deakin have to get another job when he quit Animal Collective?
Will Panda Bear be phased out for the next 1-2 years?
Should Panda Bear officially 'quit' Animal Collective to take his brand to the next level?
