Conan O'Brien is a popular television personality from right before the internet took over the way 'young adults' consumed media. He was popular with an 'emerging demographic', so NBC 'mortgaged' their future by promising him a prime late night slot, then young ppl stopped watching TV, old ppl kept watching TV, and Jay Leno was 'more relevant' [via TV ratings] than Conan Obby. N e ways, some shit went down and Conan got fired, but young adults on the internet were all pissed, even though they never bothered to watch his show.
It seems like Conan O'Brien is trying to 'get back into the young adult' markets by trying to release a buzzworthy CD. Not even sure if I 'care.' Kinda over his brand. Honestly makes me feel old. Might get into a younger, hipper youtube-based personality like Tosh O or something. Just want some1 who watches the same web clips I do, instead of trying to be a 'standup comedian.'
r u gonna buy Conan's buzz CD, or is Conan officially a Cool Dad product?
We knew that a live album wasn’t the only recording Jack White and Conan O’Brien put to tape back in June, and now the latest release from Team Coco-White has been unveiled: “And They Call Me Mad?,” an “improvised take on the Frankenstein legend” by the former Tonight Show/Late Night host, is now available for pre-order at Third Man Records and will ship out next week.
Did the young adults of the 1990s turn into cool dads at a rapid pace?
Will Conan O'Brien's new buzz CD be reviewed by Pitchfork?
Will he release some new mp3s that can 'save' 2k10?
Will Conan O'Brien 'bomb' on TBS?
Is being on TBS 'insanely shameful' [via Very Funny, yall]?
Will George Lopez pull in way more Mexi ratings than Connon?
Should Conan O'Brien retire so he can preserve the legacy of his brand, instead of growing old in2 the unfunny, irrelevant comedian who he h8s?
Were yall on #TeamCoCo, #TeamLeno, or #Busy_on_the_internet, yall--don't_watch~tv...eff_h8rs ?
Do u feel like 'tastemaking internet audiences' should control what is shown on TV, even though they don't watch TV?
Should they show Mad Men on network TV so that it will get canceled and 'smart ppl/tastemakers on the internet' will stop talking abt it?
