Recently, the popular band Animal Collective released their own custom shoes, trying to take the concept of 'band merch' 2 the next level. [link]. It seems like the XX has responded, wanting 2 say to AnCo 'hey--we're way more popular and authentic than yall, yall. Our shoes effing kill it. They match our aesthetic, don't look like doodles, and include our sweet ass X logo. Bet yall wish u had a logo. See u in buzzband hell, bitches.' Not sure if there is an actual rivalry between these bands, but seems like there should be due to the USA vs UK issues.

I am not sure if these were actually designed by the XX or if they were just made by a crazy fan. Seems like because there are Xes all over them, they have to be official XX shoes. What do yall think?
