Beach House I Do Not Care for the Winter Sun

From what I understand, Beach House is widely considered to be 'one of the best bands of 2k10', however, it seems like they have a huge decision to make on whether they want to be 'indie darlings' or if they really want to go after the post-Feist 'big bucks' and go mainstream, capitalizing on their accessibility + Vicki LeGrand's poppy voice.

Wonder if they are going to write a 'pop album.'

Anyways, they have some new 'Christmas song' and it 'sounds good/just like all of their other songs.' Sometimes I wonder if girls like Beach House, or if it is just 'good female music for bros.' In 2k10, they have basically reached the indie status where u 'have 2' blog about any MP3 they put out, or else ur blog brand may or may not be 'irrelevant.'

Has Beach House had the 'best year' of any mid-tier indie band 2k10?
Can Beach House 'grow' even more, or have they 'peaked'/already found their indie formula?
Does this song 'crush it', or is it the same Beach House formula?
