Hi. I'd like to thank every1 for gathering here today. I come here not as M.I.A., but as Mathangi "Maya" Arulpragasam. Listen... I know what you guys have been saying, my last album entitled /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\\/\/\/ "really, really, really sucked." I gave it a listen the other day, and I finally have to agree with u. I know that I'm never going 2 be a mainstream artist. I understand that. It's time 4 me to get back 2 basics.

Please excuse my Arab headdress. I am just trying to show off that I have metaphorical 'oil money' due 2 my marriage 2 a billionaire's heir. I am in no way associated with terrorists, oil money, or any sort of negative racial stereotype commonly associated with the Arab world.

I am going to rededicate myself to 'the basics.' This means that from now on, I will only play the song "Paper Planes" during my live sets. Sometimes I will play the songs "Galang", "Boyz" and I will learn how 2 cover the song "Like a G6" by the Far East Movement. This way, fans will be happy. Going forward, all of my future albums will just contain remixes and covers of "Paper Planes" on them.

I hope this brings all of us more joy at my shows. I made a mistake, I let down 2k10...but thank G-d 4 MGMT... Those dudes really dropped a stink bomb. Anyways, I'm gonna go ahead and start my show. I sincerely thank every1 4 gathering here 2day.
