Best Coast and WAVVES are 'going out on tour' 2gether, and I think a new indie gimmick is to 'release a limited edition split 7" vinyl that fans can only purchase on the tour. "Summer Is Forever" is the title, but this isn't meant 2 be a standard 'this is a kewl new album' informative blog post. Instead, this is a chance 2 write a 'reaction piece' to the disgraceful album art doodling aesthetic.

Feel kinda 'grossed out' by the design of the album art. I really wanted to 'give them a chance' to 'rebrand' in 2k11, but this is just plain 'disgraceful.' Aliens. Marijuana. Some cat puking/vomiting all over the place.

This is a flat out disgrace.

I expect this kind of album art/behavior from WAVVES, but not from Bethany...

I am legitimately worried about Snacks the Cat. They clearly think it is common 4 cats 2 throw up, and that is definitely a sign of a cat with serious health problems, or a cat who doesn't have proper cat nutrition. I am srsly more worried now than evr abt the health of Snacks. :-(

I think it might be time to 'cut the cord' after this tour if Bethany wants 2 reach her full mindie potential.
