I remember when I was an angry teenager, I looked for some music that accurately expressed my anger towards the world. I listened to bands such as Limp Bizkit, Korn, and Nine Inch Nails, but generally thought they were all 'bad ass'/'the same product.'
S00 crazie that Trent Reznor retired from Nine Inch Nails 2 win an Oscar for making the Official Soundtrack 2 Facebook. I didn't see this movie because I don't want to give Zuckerberg any more money than he already has, but if I had 2 guess, this soundtrack is just a bunch of ambient bleeps and bloops then some drones then it goes like 'wahh whhhhaaaa' in a deep kind of way.
Maybe it's just me, but I think Randy Newman should win this award every year 4 his hit song "You've Got a Friend In Me." Whenever I hear this song, I get kinda sad because I think abt nostalgic images of youth, back before innocence was lost.
Yall've got a friend in me, yall.
Is Trent Reznor a 'leader in the field of music'?
Does he deserve 2 be covered on 'indie blogs' or is he more of a hardcore rock n roll bro?
Is Randy Newman the greatest song writer of all time?
Does Trent Reznor have ideas that can 'save the music industry'?
Now that James Murphy retired from his band just like Trent Reznor, will there be tons of pressure on him 2 win an Oscar?
What's yallz fave Nine Inch Nails song? The one abt having sex with animals or the one by Johnny Cash?
When it's all said and done, will Linkin Park be the best electro rock band that ever existed?
