I just saw the album art for The Strokes' new album Angeles. Can't help but be a little bit scared after their first song was sorta just a branded Strokes song letdown [link]. The album cover seems to feature a lot of angles. It must be some sort of metaphor or something.

It seems like this album cover might be ripping off the popular video game Q-Bert. Just a bunch of angles. Living in a video game alternate reality or something. Hopping around. Trying to gain points.

UPDATE: Sources say that this game rips off Crystal Castles (the retro video game, not the buzzband).
