I just saw these photographs of Victoria LeGrand [via Beach House] performing somewhere, and she wore a really sexie blazer... However, she seemed a little bit more broad shouldered than usual, really filling out the blazer. I went ahead and did some research, and she appears to be using vintage technology called 'shoulder pads.' No, not what football players wear--a soft padded version for women that vintage mainstreamers used 2 wear. I guess back in the day, men liked women who looked strong and buff, not frail and skinny. So maybe this is a resurgent fashion that all alt women / alt retailers need 2 look in2.

I think they should consider merging with another indie band to take their member count up to 6 members, and shoot for an Arcade Fire style Grammy.
