American Apparel is having an annual 'Factory Flea Market sale' at SXSW, which I think is just where they sell the clothes that no1 buys, so it is sorta like the alt-est selection of Am Appy. I remember they had one of these in London, and a riot broke out because the clothes were so 'in demand.' [link]. Seems like this is definitely going to be a HOT SPOT for mega-influencers and innovators at this year's SXSW music and internet festival.

We'll not only have thousands of garments at up to 70% off, but we'll be selling many of your favorite American Apparel basics at not-so-retail prices. Last year over 12,000 people showed up and brought home bags and bags of great pieces at great prices. I guess I'll probably fly in just to get some 'sweet deals' on Am Appy clothes... but more importantly, I kinda want to finally get my 'modeling career' going. Am Appy is conducting a WORLD WIDE MODEL SEARCH. I am definitely gonna go wearing my Am Appy just to try to jumpstart my career as an alt retail model.
