Jimmy Fallon is always trying 2 prove that he is an authentic buzzband fan, which is probably why he booked The Strokes even though many rock critics have said that their time as a relevant buzzband is over, and they are just a touring brand that ppl are into because they want to connect with the past. Anyways, The Strokes played on Jimmy Fallon, and they made the show turn the video footage camera lens into 'black and white' so that they would seem more authentic or something. I wonder if they are 'boycotting' the Tonight Show because they are on #TeamConan.

Anyways, the song that they played was generally unlistenable, so I muted and put on the song "Last Nite, Yall" and pretended I was watching a vintage Strokes video. Do yall ever get the feeling that Julian Casablancas is 'half assing it', or is that just his eternal personal brand?
I feel kinda sad for Nikolai... He seems a bit distant and sad. I hope he is okay. He even wore sleeves, which usually means he is sad.

In addition, there was a 'distance' between him and the world at the conclusion of the performance when Jimmy Fallon tried 2 prove he 'LOVES' the Strokes. Nikolai stands alone, like he is a Sigur Ros song existing in the universe.

Did the Strokes 'kill it' on Fallon?
Is Jimmy Fallon authentic?
Do u think the Strokes are tired of 1 another or are they proud of their album?
Should the Strokes 'retire' or do they need to be euthanized, or do they deserve 'another chance' in 3 years or will we all be buzzdead in 3 years?
I really miss the old Nikolai, when he didn't wear sleeves... He seemed happier 2 be alive in a buzzband back then :-(
