Das Racist is famous for going on benders, then performing, then bendering more. It's currently their gimmick. It is a better gimmick than their old gimmick that was getting written about with the same line 'even though they have sillie raps, these dudes have mad game!' At this point in the indiesphere, 'talent' doesn't matter. It's all about who is down to throw down a solid meme, or a perpetual stream of memes.

Anyways, I saw this picture of them at Sasquatch Music Festival, and it looks like they 'metaphorically crossed swords' [via microphones]. They were probably just trying to bro down and have a meaningful bro-ment on stage...But then the spirit of bro took them too far. From what I have heard, it is unchill for bros to 'cross swords' or even touch 'just the tip' 2gether, but maybe that is the vibe they are going 4. They just want to prove they are bros, but maybe they are a lil too bro...

I guess u have 2 root for them to 'win' the indie rap wars against the Odd Futures. They seem chiller and college-educated-er than Odd Future, so I guess I can probably identify with them more.
