It's been a really dark year for music. We've joked around that we are lingering around in the buzz drought which started in 2k10... but now it seems like we have moved into a complete 'buzzpocalypse.' Odd Future 'remixed' Lana Del Rey. I tried to listen to the mp3, but it seemed really pointless. I am not sure who would even 'get excited' abt this remix except the most one-dimensional blogstreamer who needs to stop building their entire existences around mp3 blogs.

I'm really confused about who thought this was a good idea. Clearly both parties/their 'management teams' are so obsessed with buzz that they couldn't say no to this joke of an idea. Remixes by big artists might have been relevant in 2k8, but reaching for this type of meme in 2k11 is really sad and misguided. Wonder if some1 just got paid tons of $$$$ so they just pooped out a remix.

This is truly a sign that we have entered into complete BUZZPOCALYPSE status.

Everything is falling apart.

We do not know what buzz is any more.
