With their last album Treats, Sleigh Bells became one of the most popular buzzbands in indie, riding the sexi looks of Alexis Krauss to the indie promise land. Now they have to come up with a 'sophomore album' that won't let down their fans and hopefully propel them into the indie mainstream. It will probably be pretty EZ for them, as u can see by this 'teaser video'. They just make everything sound all 'heavy' and 'intense', and showcase the QT face of Alexis Krauss aka 'Sexi Lexi.'
It is always fun 2 watch indie females 'grow up' into glamorized diva. Any1 can be some crusty-looking Brooklynite who gets in2 Nylon Magazaine, but eventually u have to graduate 2 'glamour-wave' shoots, or else u r probably just some weird crusty lezbo who doesn't care abt sex appeal and then the bro markets will turn on u.
I hope they go on tour so I can stand in the front and touch her bum when she crowdsurfs. Many ppl say that she has 'the nicest a$$ in indie.'
