Lana Del Rey used to be an indie internet meme who drove hits, but after her DISASTROUS PERFORMANCE on Saturday Night Live, she because a worldwide internet meme who drove hits to all types of blogs. Anyways, she recently released this video 'collab' with Myspace. I'm not sure what the branding strategy is with them, like if her 'team' thinks that people still 'use' Myspace, or maybe they believe it has a valuable editorial voice. Pretty sure that this video is 'getting pulled' because it 'makes her look stupid' after SNL, like she has 'BIG THANGS POPPIN' but now her career is totally on the ropes.
She says some pretty 'insane' stuff in this video, basically telling ppl 'copy ppl who u want 2 be, then become them!' Overall, the video portrays the brand that every1 now thinks is a joke, and it will be hard for any1 to take the 'gangster Nancy Sinatra' line seriously any more. Every1 is afraid that her brand is toxic, and 'liking her' will either mean that they are an overcompensatory feminist, or that they have 'terrible taste.'

It is clear that the LDR team is still living in 2k2. Will they be able to construct a time machine and travel to the 'present'?
Would they want to travel 2 the future?
Does LDR 'seem pretentious' in this video?
Is there a 'complete lack of self-awareness' [via I'M A SUPER STAR] vibe 2 her brand?
Did they 'put the cart ahead of the horse'?
Will she 'rebound' and sell mad records and be able 2 laugh at any1?
Will Lana Del Rey be on Celebrity Rehab in 2 to 7 years?
Will Myspace be able to 'recover' now that they have Lana Del Rey as an 'artist 2 watch'?
R u more worried abt Tom from Myspace or LDR from the internet buzz machine?
R u worried abt Lana, like for real, like is she alone some where and her support system is failing her?
