[STREAM] Twin Sister - Bad Street
Twin Sister is kicking off their first 'real' album cycle on a 'real record label', Domino Records, so they probably have TONS of expectations on them 2 perform well. They have some really solid buzz mp3s from their formative buzz era, but now they have the pressure on them 2 'prove they are a real band', so then they have to write songs that sound like high-end pop songs. This is their first MP3 "Bad Street."
I am not sure how 2 feel abt this mp3.... I kinda miss Andrea Estella's zany vocal delivery. It seems 'aiite', but I hope this is like the 4th best song on the album. Seems 'professional'. Wonder what I should expect from this album. Wonder if they can 'break free' from the lofi pop genre and become an 'indie force'. Maybe they can become the next Arcade Fire if one of the bros 'mans up' and acts like Win Butler.
It must be rlly scary to be a buzzband. This is their 'first real album', so they can't 'hide behind an EP any more.' If ur first release is an EP, critics will be nice 2 u and say 'Give them time 2 grow and find their sound.' What do u think of ur first taste of Twin Sister's new sound?
