On last night's episode of South Park, they apparently took on the theme of 'relevancy' and 'buzzbands' and trendy musical genres and how tweens listen to poop music, but at the same time, we all listen to poop or something. There was apparently a poster of a fake Tyler the Creator hanging on a wall. That's really all he had to do with the episode. They didn't even fart on him or murder him or anything.
I had to find a recap bc I don't really make time to spend with my HDTV. If I want to watch a cartoon, I'll usually vibe out to a Pixar movie and think abt the human condition because South Park's 'social agenda' can be 2 heavy 4 me sometimes. Really makes me feel trapped in society when ppl try to provide high level commentary on society via progressive, yet mainstream mediums...
Have yall heard of tweenwave?

Randy gets mad when he finds out Sharon took Stan’s Tweenwave CD away, and thinks that they just sound like old people. Randy gives it a listen, and its legitimate farting on a record. It actually sounds like crap! But Randy’s trying his hardest to like it, and while the parents all go nuts over it and try to educate the kids on real music, Randy sides with the kids- though even a record from The Police sounds like sh*t. I’m digging this episode so far.
Once Stan plays his album, however, he realizes that the trendy Tweenwave music actually does sound like sh*t on a record. Stan admits to Kyle that he hates the record, and Kyle just doesn’t get it: “It sounds like someone is sh*tting in my ears!” Stan sees the doctor and learns that it’s because of his recent birthday- but older Bob Dylan records sound like sh*t to Kyle, too. The doc shows a movie poster and a turd in the microwave, and Kyle can’t see the difference. Stan gets diagnosed with “being a cynical asshole.” This is actually hilarious!
Meanwhile, Randy is still insistent on pretending to like the kids’ music, and uses his ass to make tween music of his own, calling himself Steamy Ray Vaughn. Stan’s cynicism starts getting worse and worse- he now hates video games, ice cream, and the mall. Randy becomes sort-of a hit at the bowling alley, enlisting Steamy Nicks to perform with him. Together they sh*t their britches and make sweet sweet music together.
Anyways, it seems like Tyler the Creator responded to his cameo by saying something incoherent, but u can assume he is just saying that he is 'awesome.'
